Your Role

Development and integration of application software and system components in the area of Java/JEE

• Integration of third party systems and external interfaces and/or own Java modules
• Analysis, conception, implementation and rollout of FirstSpirit WCMS solutions using Java and modern web technologies
• Development and optimization of FirstSpirit templates for editors to create new website content
• Customize and develop FirstSpirit modules to meet customer needs
• Implementing executable processes and ensuring error-free operation (including Docker containers, cloud computing)
• Advising our customers and internal project managers on technological challenges with the content management system
• Developing solutions within the project teams

Qualifikation

Must have:

• Completed studies as a computer scientist or a technical education with relevant professional experience
• Relevant work experience in Java Enterprise CMS implementation
• Familiarity with software development concepts such as object orientation and design patterns
• Experience in the conception and development of complex internet applications
• Good knowledge of current web technologies (web services, HTML5, CSS3 as well as JavaScript frameworks)
• You are familiar the toolchains: Git/Gitlab, Jira/Confluence and with a buildtool (e.g. Gulp, Bower)?
• Quick perception, strong service and quality orientation as well as a high degree of reliability and adherence to deadlines
• Ability to work in a team and commitment
• Willingness for continuous training
• Have at least as much fun developing and working together as a team as Logic Joe does

Nice to have:

• Experience with the integration of third-party systems in FirstSpirit
• Ideally practical experience with SCRUM
